One Vision, One Mission, One Cause!

In their attempt to support the apple farmers, grade 10E (S1E) recently embarked on a remarkable apple project in which they collaborated with another grade 10 class from SSCC Kfardebiane. The adventure began with an ice-breaking session that saw students from both schools engaged in team-building activities. The group then met with an agricultural engineer who explained the characteristics of each type of apples. Afterwards, the students went on a lively apple-picking expedition, where they strengthened the bonds forged earlier. After the fruitful harvest, they visited a homemade haven of apple wonders, a cozy house where the air was filled with the sweet aroma of freshly squeezed apples. In this warm and inviting setting, students from both schools delved into the art of turning apples into a myriad of delectable treats, learning not only about orchard management but also about the different products made from apples, such as molasses, jam and vinegar. Following the lunch break, the tenth graders visited St Antoine's church in Kfardebiane, where prayers for a successful year ahead were raised.
After the field trip, came the apple market organised by the students. Apples, pies, juice and other products were exhibited. Students and staff from grade 1 and up all took part in this apple festival, which transformed the marketplace into a vibrant tapestry of diversity. As the day unfolded, it became evident that this project was more than just a lesson in agriculture and entrepreneurship; it was a lesson in unity, understanding, and the powerful impact that can be achieved when students from different schools join forces for a meaningful cause.
