Four Training Sessions and One Goal

17 novembre 2018

The 17th of November 2018 is the day we learnt that the bigger the influence we hold, the greater the responsibility that comes along. It was great excitement that the newly-elected delegates from grades 6 till 11 flocked to school on this day to attend 4 training sessions! Never before have we ever felt so professional. With formal suits and dress code, we knew that we were about to embark towards new horizons.
Time management, conflict resolution, communication and leadership skills were given by the heads of different divisions. Each workshop included a brief theoretical part and a lot of practical activities that we could use not only in class but also in life.
While we first imagined that an eight-hour session would be hard to endure, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that our time was spent wisely. In fact, we acquired the necessary tools to manage conflicts in our surroundings, to lead by example, to invest in every second and to communicate verbally as well as non-verbally.
While Sr Nawal Akiki’s words, “Do it with passion, or not at all” resonated in our hearts, we ended up earning certificates of achievement in the presence of our parents.
On behalf of all the delegates of 2018-2019, we thank the school principal as well as the division heads for always being there to help us grow through the different activities, workshops and projects provided for us.
