Women's Day

Grade 10 students' social project focused on gender-based violence (GBV) and women's rights. Their knowledge on the topic was deepened through catechesis, Arabic, French, and civic education. Additionally, they collaborated with @ABAAD and @HIMAYA NGOs that conducted three sessions covering GBV awareness, identifying physical and psychological abuse, and resorting to ways of conflict resolution. Also, they expressed their understanding artistically through string art with @cloudemarteau. On Women's Day, they showcased a powerful dance symbolizing a call to stop violence. Moreover, the students raised awareness about the topic, by reciting a poem, further amplifying their message against gender-based violence and advocating for women's rights.
At the end of the day, we can only say that in order for a society to thrive, equal rights between the genders should reign, hence the i.portance to promote gender equality.
