When you give from the heart, you save a heart!

On Tuesday May 7, the students of grade 6 were on the last lap of their social project. Therefore, the delegates of grade 6 paid a visit to the HeartBeat Centre in Hotel Dieu to offer them the sum that they collected from the bake sale.
There, the doctors explained to us about different heart problems, and informed us about the mission of their association. Later on, they did a cardiac echography for Peter and we got to hear the sound of his heart! Then, they took us on a round in the different rooms of the centre, where we saw sick babies. It was really heart wrenching.
Our socio-spiritual project taught us that we can be the sunshine in someone’s life, and that empathy is the greatest human quality!
