“A leader’s success is in his team’s success!”

The meeting with Mr Saddi took off with a short briefing of what Google stands for:
its values, principles and services as well as how much the people there are interested
in going beyond search engines, technologies, and devices to reach all communities
and all humanity. Mr Saddi shared with us the main events that have marked his journey
from Ain Najm all the way to Google in Ireland; a journey that is certainly inspirational!

This gave us an answer to why Google is among the most powerful companies worldwide.
It is because they do much more than what we expect. What’s most impressive is that they
take initiatives in times of crisis. For example, they played a major part in building Beirut
after the blast. In fact, the Lebanese group that works with Google held a fundraising
campaign, and worked on upgrading Google maps to help the Lebanese know where
they can find shelter. All in all their hard work provided 3 million USD for our country!

After the session, we realized that the key to one’s success lies inside each one of us.
