Virtual Session on Leadership - Real Leaders in The Making!

On March 26, the delegates of grades 8 and 9, alongside the respective representatives of the "Conseil de Vie Collégienne" had the opportunity to be part of a leadership session, conducted by Mr. Naji Fakhoury. First, he shared with us the main traits and skills that could make one a leader. Then, he helped us establish a mindset that would enable us to think outside the box. For instance, at one point he asked us a very interesting question: "Why did you run as candidates?" When we replied, we noticed that our answers were alike. So, Mr. Fakhoury carried on with a story of when he was in a similar situation as us. This took us to a new level of thinking, especially when he asked us the same question again. Interestingly, we had different answers this time! The session was actually an eye opener to all of us as it made us realize not only our own strengths but also what we need to work on so that we improve our skills. In the end, we left with a variety of newly-acquired proficiencies; we are certain that they will come in handy in the future.
