This week, during our English class, we had an opportunity like no other: a cultural exchange with grade 9 students from Switzerland.
In the one-hour meeting, we discussed a variety of topics such as history, gastronomy, traditions and politics in both countries.
We also noticed that the Swiss students had a different image of what Lebanon actually is, so we felt really proud and happy to share our country's true self and beauty.
Such meetings widen our knowledge of the world because it is through these meetings that we learn to accept the other's culture, understand diversity and change misconceptions, thus the importance of holding similar enriching exchanges!
