Separated by Distance, Connected by language Part 2

2 mars 2022

Another interactive session was held with the Swiss students this week. Even though the classes were different this time, yet the same simplicity and spontaneity reigned throughout the Zoom session.

It was a valuable opportunity that enabled us to connect with people our age who live thousands of miles away and to learn about their culture. In addition, we noticed that many aspects are not the same like the diversity of nationalities in the same class as well as the school umiform and schedule that extends till 4h30. We also got to clarify a lot of misconceptions about Lebanon like the fact that it does not snow here or that we live in a desert.
The meeting ended with us singing "Dal3ouna" and dancing dabke, much to the amazement and appreciation of our foreign friends.
