My Story...Through Arts!

"Mon histoire”, an exhibition organised by the French Institute of Lebanon, displays the lives of Lebanese women who have marked the history of our country. Portraits of forty exceptional Lebanese figures, like Fairuz, Sahar Fares, Nadine Labaki, Georgette Gebara and others are highlighted in order to sensitise the Lebanese youth to women’s rights in Lebanon.

It is in this respect that a group of high school students attended the exhibition in Jounieh. After a lengthy presentation about the exhibition and its goal, the young visitors went on a round and explored another facet of Lebanese history, one that is artistic and bright!
